Computer Vision and Machine Learning E-mailing list and Resources

Dear Computer Vision and Machine Learning enthusiasts,

Welcome to the moderated Computer Vision and Machine Learning (CVML) email list cvml@lists.auth.gr. The list is fully functional and still is populating at a large rate. You are now welcomed to post your messages and spread the word. I do hope it will be a very useful tool to the scientific community. We shall devote every effort to this effect, by careful moderation.

Here are some simple instructions on its use:

1. To subscribe (for free) to this new Computer Vision and Machine Learning (CVML) email list and send/receive scientific messages/news, please:
  
  send an empty email to sympa@lists.auth.gr with subject: subscribe cvml@lists.auth.gr your_name
  
  Your_name is optional.
  
  For example if your name is John Smith, your email subject should be: subscribe cvml@lists.auth.gr John Smith
  
  or subscribe cvml@lists.auth.gr
  
  Once you subscribe you can receive the messages separately(default) or in digest format (twice a week).
  
  If you want to receive messages in digest format, please send a request email to the moderator Ioanna Koroni koroniioanna@csd.auth.gr
2. To post a message (in English) to CVML please:
  
  send an email to cvml@lists.auth.gr with subject: [Topic] Your_subject
  
  [Topic] should be one of the following ones: [Jobs], [Conferences], [Journals], [Courses], [Studies], [News].
  
  If you want to resend a message to cvml on the same subject with an already broadcasted one, wait for 15 calendar days. It will be re-broadcasted only once.
3. You can post messages any time (need to be subscribed). The moderator will review and forward them each Tuesday and Thursday around 12:00 noon EET (target around 10 messages per time).
4. You can unsubscribe any time, by sending an empty email to sympa@lists.auth.gr with subject: unsubscribe cvml@lists.auth.gr

The moderation of the list is supervised by Professor I.Pitas (pitas@csd.auth.gr).

If you want to post entries to CVML Academic Labs, CVML Companies, CVML Datasets, CVML Conferences and CVML Courses tabs you are welcomed to send the links by email to the CVML e-mail list moderator koroniioanna@csd.auth.gr and cc to pitas@csd.auth.gr Please send only: a) link (e.g., http://www.aiia.csd.auth.gr/EN/ and b) the related entry name (AIIA Lab, AUTH, Greece).

We shall not edit your entries and we shall order them alphabetically (for CVML databases, CVML R&D groups, CVML companies) or by date (for CVML conferences CVML courses).
